Job summary

Washington County Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Coach for Boys Lacrosse at Boonsboro High School for Spring 2027. The role supports the lacrosse program, works with student-athletes, and assists with practice planning and game-day duties.

Candidates must be at least 21, hold a High School Diploma or GED, and be willing to enroll in injury prevention training; prior HS/college coaching and player experience is preferred. Preference for current WCPS teachers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Completed or willing to enroll in a one-credit course in the prevention and care of athletic injuries.
• One year of coaching experience at the high school or college level, and player experience at high school/college level.
