Job summary

Gloucester County Public Schools is seeking a part-time basketball aide/coach to supplement the season. Responsibilities include teaching basketball skills and assisting in practice sessions under the Athletics Director's supervision.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it, concussion training, and completion of onboarding items such as eligibility verification and background checks.

Job description

1.Supplement in the amount of $1,440 for the season,
2.Supplement is paid in March
3.Knowledge of, experience in, and ability to assist in teaching the skills of Basketball
4.Cover and resume optional, but preferred, and highly recommended
5.Must hold or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
6.Must attend concussion training
7.Satisfactory completion of all onboarding requirements prior to first day of employment, including, but not limited to:

• Documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.
• Virginia State Police/FBI criminal history background check
• Virginia Department of Social Services background check
• Tuberculosis test/screening completed within the last 12 months
• "Child Abuse and Neglect" training certificate
