Job summary

EōS Fitness in Phoenix, AZ is hiring boxing instructors for our Contender’s Corner. You will lead high-energy group boxing workouts, engage members, answer questions, promote classes, and ensure safety and equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification and CPR/AED, is organized, energetic, a strong communicator, and a true team player who can motivate participants and maintain a positive gym atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification.
• Must hold a valid CPR/AED Certification.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organized, energetic, and dependable in class scheduling.
• Able to motivate participants and maintain safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and energize fitness classes in Contender's Corner.
• Ensure participant safety and equipment maintenance.
• Promote gym and Group Fitness classes.
• Maintain class schedule and punctuality.
• Engage with members to gather feedback.

The successful candidate must be capable of answering questions and concerns of participants, solicit feedback about the class, be dependable and consistent in class schedule starting and ending times, maintain a positive and professional attitude towards members, while promoting the gym and Group Fitness classes. Essential Purpose:

Engage and "wow" our members in every class by creating a sense of community with a fun results focused group workout where everyone feels successful.

Other Responsibilities:

• Group Fitness Studio cleanliness
• Building and equipment maintenance and safety
• Continuing Education

Requirements for Success:

• Great fitness role model and motivator.
• Good musicality (stays on the beat, this isn't applicable to all classes most though).
• Clear communicator (cues well).

Required Certifications:

• MUST have a Nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification
• MUST have a valid CPR/AED Certification

Hourly Pay Range

$15.50 - $35 USD
