Job summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, is seeking a delivery driver to operate a box truck on established routes. You will complete 10–20 daily deliveries, perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, and maintain logs in compliance with policy and law.

You’ll use a handheld device to document deliveries, communicate with dispatch and customers, and handle loading/unloading with equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. OT may be required and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ with a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck, or semi) and successful completion of a company road test administered by a qualified assessor.
• Valid DOT Medical Card meeting DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to learn and safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts/high-reach lifts).
• Commitment to safety and procedures; strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck on assigned routes making approximately 10–20 customer deliveries per day.
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs (driver’s logs, fuel purchases, and other records) per company policy and applicable laws.
• Use a company‑provided handheld to confirm, document, and complete all deliveries.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, dispatch, and teammates; collect payments at delivery when required.
• Load and unload product safely; operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and related equipment as trained and needed.
