Pace Runners, Inc. is seeking an Owner/Operator Delivery Driver with a Box Truck for our Hammond, LA market. This 1099 contractor role offers dedicated lanes, home daily, and multi-stop routes around Hammond. Typical routes are 150–300 miles round trip, Monday–Friday, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Ideal candidates own a 24–26 ft box truck with lift gate, meet insurance requirements, and can pass MVR, background, and drug screening. Experience with a Pace app is a plus.

Qualifications

• Own a working 24'–26' Box Truck with Lift Gate.
• Meet insurance requirements – $1,000,000 CGL, $1,000,000 auto liability, $100,000 motor cargo.
• Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
• Drivers must be 21 or older.
• Must have active operating authority with the FMCSA.

Responsibilities

• Load freight from warehouse and deliver to designated stores.
• Scanning in each carton is required at delivery.
• Operate a pallet jack to load/unload the freight.
• Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
• Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
• Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
• Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.
