Independent contractor roles require active USDOT & MC numbers, a registered business, and teamwork with a driver+helper pair. Responsibilities include safely operating the truck, loading and unloading, protecting items during transit, and delivering excellent customer service while keeping accurate logs.

Qualifications

• Registered business entity (LLC or Corporation)
• Active USDOT & MC#
• 26’ box truck with liftgate (owned or leased)
• Driver + helper team
• Ability to perform home deliveries and basic appliance/furniture installations
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• All team members must pass background checks
• Certificate of Insurance meeting required coverage levels: Auto liability, General liability, Cargo, Workers’ compensation

Responsibilities

• Safely operate your box truck to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries
• Load, secure, and unload materials
• Ensure all items are safely handled and properly protected during transport
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at every stop
• Maintain accurate delivery logs through mobile applications or paper documentation
