Formación

• Proven delivery driver experience with route driving and load handling.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment like forklifts.
• Ability to lift heavy loads regularly.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for heavy lifting and vehicle operation.
• Experience in logistics or warehouse environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate your own box truck or similar commercial vehicle to pick up and deliver goods to various locations.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring secure handling of all items.
• Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to optimize delivery times.
• Provide outstanding customer service by communicating clearly with clients upon delivery, addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of shipments, delivery receipts, and incident reports as needed.
• Assist with warehouse activities when required, including inventory checks and organizing shipments for smooth dispatching.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation laws and company policies to uphold safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong background in route driving and load handling.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle type.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform physical tasks related to moving cargo safely.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation.
