Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Part-Time Box Truck Driver at our Thornton, CO location. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries and act as a liaison with customers, keeping accurate records and processing payments as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, DOT Physical eligibility, and a valid driver's license. Prior driving and customer service experience are preferred, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus one year driving experience and one year in customer service or related field.
• Must obtain DOT Physical before start date.
• Valid Unrestricted Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate, timely, and efficient deliveries of GFS products.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Accurately collect customer payments and safeguard company funds.
• Perform Sales Service functions by the 90th day of employment.
• Perform proper equipment maintenance and monitor reefer temperature.
• Complete daily check-ins and manage paperwork (register, credits, pick-ups).
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicles and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned in-store or driver-related
