Job summary

Goodwill Keystone Area in York, PA is seeking a Box Truck Driver/Material Handler. This non-exempt role handles donor pickups, shipments, and general deliveries, while ensuring safe driving and proper truck maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver's license with 2 years general driving exp. and satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle background check on an annual basis.
• Must successfully complete road test facilitated by designated Goodwill Keystone Area transportation personnel.
• Must be able to work with equipment such as pallet jacks, trash compactors, balers and operate equipment following all safety guidelines at all times.
• Possess forklift certification and/or willingness to become certified.
• Ability to work with power equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, compactors, balers and operate equipment following all safety guidelines.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck for pick-ups, store shipments and general deliveries between Goodwill Keystone Area locations and/or donation centers adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
• Communicates regularly with Store Manager and Retail District Director, reporting delays or concerns and following truck seal procedures.
• Loads and unloads trucks following safety guidelines and maintains organization of the truck and dock area.
• Completes required forms and paperwork in a timely fashion and ensures supplies for duties.
• Assists processing/production operations and inventory control as needed.
• Represents Goodwill Keystone Area with excellent customer service and supports organizational programs and events.
