Job summary

HandCraft Services in Richmond, VA is seeking a Box Truck Driver for a Wednesday through Sunday schedule, starting at 7:30 AM, with home daily. The role offers $21.67 hourly pay with excellent benefits and a signing bonus.

You will load linen carts, deliver to customers, maintain inventory, and operate safely at all times. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of box truck experience, a valid license, DOT compliance, and the ability to drive nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience driving a box truck.
• Have a valid driver's license and a valid driver’s license, meets all DOT requirements, and is physically able to perform the duties of this position.
• Be able to drive nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Have strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Must have a minimum +2 and supply a copy of their Virginia driving record upon interview.
• Will be able to push the linen carts which weight up to 450 pounds and lift 30 pounds overhead.

Responsibilities

• Load linen carts onto trucks.
• Delivers the product to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintains a clean and organized storage area, and ensures the customer has enough linen for daily needs.
• Ensure a full inventory of each customer is completed, documented, and maintained on a regular basis at the direction of the Service Manager.
• Most importantly and without exception, the Box Truck Driver operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times.
