Surge Staffing is seeking a dependable Box Truck Driver / Hi-Lo Forklift Operator in Livonia, MI. The role combines driving a 26-foot box truck with sit-down forklift operation and general warehouse duties, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

This hands-on position emphasizes safety and reliability in both warehouse and delivery tasks. Ideal candidates will have forklift and box truck experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, wear steel-toed boots, and work well independently or on a team.

Qualifications

• Hi-Lo/sit-down forklift experience required.
• Previous box truck driving experience required.
• Ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck.
• Ability to load and unload materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Steel-toed boots required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck as needed.
• Operate a sit-down Hi-Lo forklift to load, unload, and move materials.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and warehouse areas.
• Safely move and stage materials throughout the facility.
• Assist with general warehouse duties.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Perform other warehouse and delivery-related duties as needed.
