BornSafe Logistics is hiring delivery drivers in Santa Clarita, CA for a full-time role. Pay is $24.25 per hour, with biweekly pay and a 4-day, 40-hour workweek. Day shifts are typical, with potential for a second shift, and incentives may be offered.

Benefits & Scheduling

• Pay is $24.25/hour (paid biweekly)
• 8-10 hour shifts are typical
• 4-day workweek with 40 hours or less is typical
• Schedule for FT Team Members is a rotation where team members should not work more than 3 consecutive days, allowing more personal time; every other weekend should be off
• Expect day time shift with future potential to work 2nd shift if desired
• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Safely deliver packages to customers located in residential neighborhoods and schools
• Safely and cooperatively engage with coworkers, management and third-parties
• Safely and professionally interact with customers and the general public while delivering packages to residential, retail, and business locations
• Carry out a series of instructions and handle company property without constant supervision
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis; maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs, using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team; get in and out of an van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smartphone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
