Job summary

Metalworks Inc. is seeking a Box Truck Driver and Warehouse associate to transport products between facilities and to customers in a courteous, professional manner. The role involves operating box trucks, flatbeds, and pickups, with forklift-assisted loading/unloading and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Transport products between Metalworks facilities and to vendors using a box truck, flatbed trailers, and pickup.
• Assist in prepping and tagging products at either facility.
• Load and unload work in progress (WIP) with forklifts and pallet jacks, and pick orders and load trailers for deliveries.
• Deliver products to customers in a polite and professional manner, representing Metalworks during those times.
• Verify part numbers and counts on packing lists as it is being unloaded by customer to ensure document accuracy and quality.

Summary:

The Box Truck Driver and Warehouse position is responsible for safely transporting products to and from Metalworks facilities and regional locations using various delivery vehicles.

Shift:

Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM with mandatory OT when applicable

Essential Duties:

• Transport products between Metalworks facilities as well as to and from vendors using a box truck, flatbed trailers, and pickup trucks.
• Assist in prepping and tagging of products at either facility.
• Load and unload work in progress (WIP) with forklifts and pallet jacks as well as picking orders and loading trailers for deliveries.
• Deliver products to customers in a polite and professional manner with the understanding that you are the face that is representing Metalworks during those times.
• Verify part numbers and counts on packing lists as it is being unloaded by customer to ensure document accuracy and quality.

Qualifications:

2 years of forklift experience required. Must have a valid driver's license
