Job summary

APR Supply Co. in Wheeling, WV is seeking a Box Truck Driver for 1st shift. The role starts at 5:00am, Monday through Friday, delivering materials to branches, customers and worksites.

You will safely operate company vehicles, load/unload products, and use Eclipse software and GPS for daily tasks, while maintaining safety and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C License, RealID required starting 2025.
• Three years of driving experience (box truck preferred).
• DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one.
• Two years box truck driving experience.
• Ability to lift/carry/move items up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver products to branches, customers and work sites.
• Secure truck contents for transport.
• Load and unload products for customers.
• Operate Eclipse software and GPS and other electronic devices for daily tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers professionally and enthusiastically.
• Adhere to traffic laws, regulations and company policies to ensure safety.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.

We seek talented, enthusiastic, and customer focused individuals to join our Wheeling Branch as a Box Truck Driver on 1st Shift. This person would work Monday-Friday, with a start time of 5:00am. THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN Wheeling, WV.

What You\'ll Do

The Box Truck Driver will increase operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely delivering materials to branches, customers and worksites.

• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver products to branches, customers, work sites etc.
• Secure truck contents for transport
• Load and unload products for customers
• Operate electronic devices (Eclipse software, GPS, electronic signature capture device, smart phone etc.) to perform daily work
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers professionally and enthusiastically
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safety of yourself and others on the road
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues to appropriate personnel
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
• Willing to work some overtime when needed

Required for Success

Valid Class C License, RealID required starting in 2025, with three years of driving experience

DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain

Two years box truck driving experience

Ability to use Eclipse software and related electronic devices

Physically able to lift, carry, move etc. products up to 75 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally

Ability to communicate successfully with leads, supervisors, coworkers and customers as required
