US Farathane, a leading plastics manufacturer, is seeking a 1st shift Box Truck Driver in Riverside, Missouri. The role includes delivering product, assisting in warehouse functions, and supporting accurate inventories and shipments.

You will operate company vehicles, assist in cycle counting, unload and load trucks, and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse while following safety policies and quality procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
Valid Missouri Class E license or ability to obtain.
Ability to read simple instructions and perform basic math.

US Farathane is seeking a 1st Shift Box Truck Driver.

US Farathane has been a leading source of plastics manufacturing, supplying the automotive industry for over 40 years. Through highly technical research and development, coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates, US Farathane has continued to grow each year. We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPEs and TPOs as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.

Summary:

Box Truck Driver/Receiving Clerkassists in warehouse functions required to insure accurate inventories, receipts, and shipments to internal and external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver product using Company owned vehicles as needed.
Assist in cycle counting of warehouse inventories.
Assist in auditing inbound and outbound shipments.
Operate a hi-lo upon successful completion of training course and written test.
Accurately operate shipping and receiving equipment including bar code equipment and UPS machine
Assemble warehouse racking as needed.
Load trucks with finished goods for customers, verifying shipper with product loaded.
Unload, receive in and put away in proper location purchased material after quantity verification and inspection.
Keep warehouse organized and clean.
Responsible for seeing that stock is rotated (FIFO – First In First Out).
Assist in cycle counting and auditing inbound and outbound shipments.
Stage and label correctly all outbound product.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, Level II procedures, etc.)
Comply with of all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
DOT Missouri Class E – or ability to obtain one; or valid Kansas Driver’s License
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
