A Box Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a box truck to transport and deliver goods to customers, businesses, and designated locations. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck on assigned local and regional routes.
• Basic hand tool usage and assembly skills
• Pick up and deliver products, packages, equipment, or materials according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent shifting, loss, or damage during transit.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow applicable traffic laws, DOT regulations, company policies, and customer-site requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, receipts, inspection documents, and other required paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and leadership regarding deliveries, delays, route changes, and vehicle issues.
• Verify orders, freight condition, and delivery quantities before completing deliveries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle and work area.
• Assist with warehouse, material-handling, or loading duties when required.

Physical Requirements

• This position requires frequent entering and exiting of the vehicle, standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday.
• Employees must be able to lift and move products weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted and safely load, unload, and secure freight.
