Job summary

Blue Mountain Construction Services in Vacaville, CA, seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Delivery Box Truck Driver to join our team. You will deliver materials to jobsites, document deliveries with photos, and coordinate with site superintendents to ensure on-time, accurate service.

Ideal candidates have 26ft box truck experience, a clean driving record, and are able to pass physicals and drug tests. This on-site role requires reliable transportation and strict adherence to safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience driving 26ft box trucks.
• Driving record with zero points.

• Solid understanding of driving areas and use of GPS.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods to jobsites and capture photos of delivered items.
• Report undeliverable items back to Warehouse.
• Load and unload materials at shops and jobsite using safe practices.
• Coordinate with Jobsite Superintendent prior to drop off materials.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain required paperwork.
• Ensure proper and safe driving practices, including scale/ weigh station stops.
• Make deliveries and run errands as directed.
• Keep accurate and complete records.
• Transport prefabricated parts to construction sites for assembly and installation.
• Record timesheets.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work is done in a warehouse setting, and at jobsites with freeway and road travel in between. Lighting is artificial and natural. Equipment used includes cell phone; material handling equipment i.e., pallet jacks, hand trucks, delivery vehicles; and some safety equipment i.e., hard helmet, safety glasses, gloves. Individuals will have some exposure to rain, dust, noise, heat, cold, and fumes. Physical demands include walking, standing, repetitive use of both hands, driving delivery trucks, and other equipment, and being around other work equipment and machinery; and occasionally sitting, balancing, pushing, and pulling, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Hours and days are primarily Monday through Friday with some overtime and weekends required. The position requires contact with other Blue Mountain employees and the public.

The base pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00.
