Job summary

LKQ Corporation in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a responsible delivery driver to safely operate a company vehicle, load/unload parts, verify orders, and collect payments from customers. You will document deliveries and returns, and provide excellent customer service.

Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, DOT compliance, and at least 1 year of delivery experience. Must be 21+, able to lift up to 75 pounds, and pass DOT/FMCSA requirements. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• No degree required.
• 1+ years of delivery experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Must qualify for corporate insurance programs including vehicle insurance.
• Meet DOT testing and physical requirements and FMCSA regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comply with state/local requirements and DOT/FMCSA rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Company vehicle to deliver product to customers.
• Load and unload the truck; verify cargo and paperwork.
• Obtain customer signatures confirming deliveries and returns; issue receipts.
• Collect accounts receivable as needed.
• Maintain safety and professional conduct during deliveries.
• Follow company policies and participate in required training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Manually loads and unloads delivery truck, verifies parts loaded and unloaded, collects payments from customers, obtains signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy of parts unloaded/loaded and delivers returned items back to the location.Pay Rate $20.00Essential Job DutiesDrive a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents.Physically load Company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made.Drive to the delivery destination and physically unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature of receiving location, confirming the accuracy of parts shown on the order and those received, and sign off on the integrity of what was loaded at the location.Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers to the location.Collect accounts receivable, as necessary.Comply with established Company policies and procedures.Successful completion of annual training as assigned.Operate in compliance with applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.Provide excellent customer service during delivery/pick up of products.Assume other duties as assigned.
