Job summary

The Wonderful Company is seeking a dedicated delivery professional to join the Wonderful Sales team in servicing supermarkets and retailers across the U.S. and Canada.

This role focuses on local daily deliveries, merchandising, invoicing and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will operate 18-24 ft box trucks with liftgate, lift and load products, ensure safety, and collaborate with the DSD team while upholding company standards and food safety policies.

Qualifications

• DSD route and/or supermarket experience.
• Previous experience in sales, retail merchandising and customer service.
• Valid Driver’s License and no major driving infractions – background check will be conducted.
• Valid New York DOT Medical card.
• Ability to drive an 18 to 24 foot box truck, with liftgate (no CDL required).
• Move product weighing up to 50lbs.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Basic Math and effective communication skills with the ability to read, write and speak English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Enthusiastic, positive, self-motivated, resourceful team player.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook and Apple-based products (iPhone).

Responsibilities

• Maintain personal, driving and food safety standards in accordance to the company’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure vehicle is safe, clean and maintained at all times; report any safety or vehicle deficiencies to management.
• Perform other duties or responsibilities, as assigned.

Pay Range: $25.00 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
