Job summary

U.S. Army MWR at Fort Stewart, GA is seeking a Maintenance Worker for the Marne Lanes Bowling Center. The role includes performing minor adjustments to bowling machinery, preventive maintenance on pin setters and related equipment, and assisting with cleaning and lane upkeep.

Applicants must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, follow written instructions, and work indoors in a facilities environment with typical maintenance duties. A one-year probation may be required and security checks apply.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and follow written instructions.
• Have the ability to handle tools and equipment used.
• Be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Be able to actively bend, stoop, reach and work in awkward positions.

Responsibilities

• Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling alley machinery and performs periodic preventive maintenance on automatic handling equipment.
• Cleans and conditions bowling lanes and return racks; maintains proper stock levels of spare parts and pins for automatic pin setter and mechanical equipment; and assists with general maintenance and cleaning of bowling facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
