Job summary

605 Sires is seeking an Embryologist to perform all aspects of bovine IVF and embryo production in our laboratory. The role requires strict aseptic technique, meticulous record-keeping, and adherence to SOPs to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will work closely with veterinarians and lab staff to meet production goals, troubleshoot equipment, mentor junior embryologists, and support inventory and biosecurity standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with bovine IVF/embryology preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and record data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine IVF laboratory procedures.
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and laboratory cleanliness standards.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) precisely and consistently.
• Accurately record laboratory data, results, and inventory in electronic and paper record systems.
• Assist with laboratory equipment setup, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in training and mentoring laboratory assistants and junior embryologists as assigned.
• Support inventory management and laboratory supply organization.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient laboratory operations and successful client outcomes.
