Job summary

Talbots in San Marcos, TX is seeking a part-time sales associate to deliver outstanding customer service and fashion guidance. You will help store leadership drive sales, assist with merchandising, and engage customers with expert product knowledge in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

The role emphasizes relation-building, teamwork, and dependability to support store operations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business.
• Support all service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Service multiple customers at a time, multi-task and handle projects simultaneously.
• Be aware of fashion trends and seek information about all new arrivals and product knowledge.
• Use product knowledge to create outfits for customers and match needs.
• Maximize performance by participating in learning opportunities and feedback.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in clientelling/outreach and appointments.
