Job summary

Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required. Experience in hospitality and strong communication with guests and staff are essential, along with any ServSafe, TIPS, or bilingual skills that enhance guest experiences

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public.
• Minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders, retrieve, and serve beverages and food to guest tables per hotel specifications.
• Collect payments and assist in maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment.
• Take responsibility for safety, quality, and adherence to operational procedures.
• Maintain communication with the General Manager, department managers, supervisors, and staff.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
