Menehune Water Company Inc in Aiea, Hawaii, is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician for the Small Pack Division. You will inspect, repair, and maintain bottling machinery to ensure peak performance and product quality.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibrating equipment, and keeping detailed maintenance records while coordinating with production to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus
• Knowledge of machinery operations and maintenance procedures, including mechanical and electrical wire repair, pneumatic and hydraulic theory
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Familiarity with safety regulations and a strong commitment to safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of production machinery to identify issues and rectify them promptly
• Perform preventive maintenance to prevent downtime and extend machine lifespan
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
• Execute repairs and part replacements to ensure machinery functions effectively
• Calibrate and fine-tune machines for optimal performance and product quality
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory
• Collaborate closely with the production team to schedule maintenance tasks that minimize disruption
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment
