Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is recruiting an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves using advanced imaging technology for diagnostic scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining MRI equipment.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration, and at least 2 years of MRI Tech experience. Comprehensive benefits including insurance and a 401k plan are provided.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
