Description:
ICLS is currently seeking experienced Bosnianinstructors to teach adult professionals at the ICLS schoolhouse in Washington, DC. The immediate need is for teaching in-person at our schoolhouse in Washington, DC, Mon - Fri, with 5 instructional hours per day (25 hours per week). Additional teaching assignments vary and may include full-time or part-time classes, for private students and/or small groups, and may be at a wide range of proficiency levels.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Bosnianto adults in a full-time setting
• Native-level proficiency in Bosnian
• Possess at minimum a bachelor’s degree
• Ability to teach in-person in Washington, DC

Preferred Qualifications:

• Post graduate degree in teaching, second language acquisition, or a similar field
• Familiarity with the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale
• Experience preparing students for DoD and Foreign Service proficiency testing
• Familiarity with Educational Technology tools
