Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Richmond, Virginia seeks a Securities and Capital Markets Associate to support a borrower-side debt finance practice, working closely with experienced partners across industries.

The successful candidate will draft, review, and negotiate financing documents, manage due diligence, deal execution, and closing processes, and advise clients on capital structure and transaction strategy. 1–5 years of debt financing experience and Virginia Bar membership preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent from a nationally recognized law school.
• 1–5 years of experience in debt financing transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
• Virginia State Bar membership required.

Responsibilities

• Represent borrowers and sponsors in leveraged finance transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing documentation.
• Manage due diligence, deal execution, and closing processes.
• Advise clients on capital structure and transaction strategy.
• Assist with debt covenant analysis and related agreements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
