Job summary

Qualifications

• Expertise in terrestrial ecology including fire and isotope ecology, modelling, and plant physiological ecology.
• Interest in boreal forest ecosystems and collaborative, integrative research teams.
• Ability to contribute to teaching, mentoring, and external funding pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Teach two courses per year in Biology and Wildlife.
• Develop and sustain an externally funded research program with the Institute of Arctic Biology.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and provide service to the university, profession, and public.
• Contribute to curricula and offer courses in general ecology, ecosystem ecology, and related topics with undergraduate research experiences.
