Customs and Border Protection is hiring CBPOs in the United States across multiple grades (GS-5, GS-7, GS-9). The role includes enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws, inspecting individuals and conveyances, and determining admissibility for entry.

In addition to competitive base pay, incentives and comprehensive federal benefits are offered. Newly appointed CBPOs may receive up to $15,000 in incentives per year with a multi-year service contract and access to the Thrift Savings

Qualifications

• GS-5 requires 3 years of general experience, 1 year at least at GS-4, or education substitution with a bachelor’s degree, or a combination of experience and education.

Responsabilités

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Enforcing the flow of legitimate trade and travel.
• Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
• Determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.
