• Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers near borders using surveillance and covert methods.
• Interpreting tracks and evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Performing farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks and patrols.
• Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways with various assets.
