Job summary

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks Border Patrol Agent (BPA) to join a global law enforcement organization with a strong benefits package.

The role covers inquiries, border surveillance, and enforcement of immigration and customs laws across multiple duty locations. New BPA hires can access competitive base pay ranging from $51,632 to $124,717 per year, with additional recruitment and retention incentives and a comprehensive benefits program including health, retirement, and paid

Qualifications

• One year of general work experience in public safety or related field.
• A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field.
• Combination of experience and education may qualify you for the next level.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations.
• Maintain surveillance and use night-vision equipment to identify threats near borders.
• Interpret tracks and evidence to determine admissibility and contraband.
• Conduct checks on farms, buildings, traffic, and urban patrols as assigned.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waters using government assets.
