Qualifications

• One year of general work experience demonstrating the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Education substitution: a bachelor’s degree or completion of a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Detect immigration and customs violations and inspect documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance and field techniques.
• Patrol borders and waterways using a range of government assets to support CBP mission.
