Job summary

GLP Transit is seeking a CDL driver to operate a Boom Truck delivering tanks to company sites and customers. You will ensure efficient completion of duties and safe vehicle operation in line with company policy.

Primary duties include loading/unloading tanks per regulations, performing safety inspections, and maintaining paperwork. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required, with weekend availability and compliance with DOT/FMCSA rules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Previous experience operating a boom truck, crane truck, or similar equipment preferred.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads tanks adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
