Job summary

Universal Supply Co. is seeking a CDL Driver Boom Crane to safely transport wall panels, trusses and materials to job sites. The role requires a Class A or B license, strict DOT compliance, and the ability to load, unload and secure loads with a boom crane.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, manage logs, interact with customers on site, and help stock inventory as needed. Inter-state travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Experience operating boom trucks or truck-mounted cranes preferred.
• Knowledge of load charts, rigging practices and weight distribution.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, logbooks, and HOS compliance.
• Ability to load, unload and transport materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and completed locations; may require inter-state travel.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT logs.
• Provide professional customer service and communicate with clients and supervisors.
• Secure loads, verify orders, and ensure accurate delivery and documentation.
• Unload materials safely with a truck-mounted forklift; keep the truck clean and organized.
• Assist in stocking inventory and operating boom crane equipment as required.
• Supervise associates involved in scope of operation and ensure safety protocols.
