Job summary

Barnes & Noble, Tyson's Corner Center in McLean is seeking a Barista to join our café team. You will greet customers, prepare beverages, handle orders, stock the bake case, and keep the cafe tidy while delivering friendly, professional service.

As you gain experience, you will expand your knowledge of beverages and bakery items, support the bookfloor team when needed, and progress toward the Senior Barista role. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Greet customers warmly and provide helpful beverage recommendations.
• Handle transactions quickly and accurately at the register.
• Maintain café presentation and cleanliness throughout shifts.
• Be flexible to cover varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages and cafe items.
• Unpack deliveries and stock bakery and cafe items.
• Keep counter, dining area and floors clean and well-presented.
• Assist bookfloor team when needed and support promotions.
