Responsibilities

• Organizing and installing books, prints, and art objects, with the ability to lift book cartons and small crates regularly.
• Maintaining a meticulous visual presentation of the physical store and storage spaces with common-sense solutions.
• Providing excellent customer service via email and phone with accurate and prompt follow-through.
• Packaging and preparing shipments of delicate art and merchandise to clients worldwide.
• Expeditious troubleshooting for problems with creative and economical solutions.
• Maintaining physical inventory counts across several digital platforms.
• Liaising gracefully and proactively with gallery staff in-house and globally to support artists’ projects, client sales, product launches, and inter-gallery shipments.
• Regular follow-up with vendors and commercial shipping companies.
• Assisting department director with special projects in addition to standard responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a front-facing role with periods of high-volume.

Salary

Salary commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position. Standard work schedule is Tuesday – Saturday, 10 AM – 6 PM with occasional shifts to Monday – Friday dependent on the gallery’s exhibition schedule.
