Responsibilities
- Organizing and installing books, prints, and art objects, with the ability to lift book cartons and small crates regularly.
- Maintaining a meticulous visual presentation of the physical store and storage spaces with common-sense solutions.
- Providing excellent customer service via email and phone with accurate and prompt follow-through.
- Packaging and preparing shipments of delicate art and merchandise to clients worldwide.
- Expeditious troubleshooting for problems with creative and economical solutions.
- Maintaining physical inventory counts across several digital platforms.
- Liaising gracefully and proactively with gallery staff in-house and globally to support artists’ projects, client sales, product launches, and inter-gallery shipments.
- Regular follow-up with vendors and commercial shipping companies.
- Assisting department director with special projects in addition to standard responsibilities.
Qualifications
- A genuine interest in contemporary art and art editions.
- Previous experience in a front-facing role with periods of high-volume.
- Respect of hierarchy structures within a team environment.
- Adopted interpersonal communication with strong command of English (written and spoken).
- Mastery of Google Workspace tools.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (specifically InDesign and Photoshop).
- Previous experience with commercial shipping (imports and exports).
- Ideal candidates have experience with the Shopify platform.
- Ideal candidates have a studio-art background.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position. Standard work schedule is Tuesday – Saturday, 10 AM – 6 PM with occasional shifts to Monday – Friday dependent on the gallery’s exhibition schedule.
