Martha + Mary (parent company of Welcome Hospitality) offers an innovative environment and on-property amenities. We are a leading infill developer in the Phoenix core, engaged in the areas of space development, hospitality operations and art production. Our developments include the "Central" project housing Lux/Pane Bianco/Undefeated, Welcome Diner/Welcome Chicken + Donuts (both the real estate development and operations) and Yourland (a 20 acre multi use development). The company began as an artist-based enterprise. We are growing and have a lot to accomplish. We are looking for a dynamic person to be an essential part of a team set on creating, building and operating meaningful and unique Phoenix projects.


The Full Charge Bookkeeper-Administrator is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense entries, sales tax, payroll, financial statement creation, reconciliations, audits, pre-tax preparation, insurance, cash flow projection/forecasting and assistance in financial transactions. Duties will also include customer and vendor relations, as well as potential for office management. Job duties will evolve over time, with the candidate taking an increasingly central role in administering company systems.


Requirements
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • 2 years of bookkeeping or related experience
  • QuickBooks experience preferred
