Longview Community Bank—Gibson City Branch is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support deposit operations. You will import and verify ACH data, balance accounts, and maintain financial records while working to keep daily banking activities accurate and efficient.

Experience with Fiserv/Precision in a banking setting is required, along with a background in deposit operations, item processing, or back-office functions.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with banking software and processing systems is required.
• Experience in deposit operations, item processing, or back‑office banking preferred.
• Solid attention to detail and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Import, verify, review, edit and interface incoming ACH files accurately.
• Process incoming cash letters, exception items, and rejected transactions.
• Maintain and balance account information in the core system; upload new accounts.
• Handle daily investment entries and maintain reliable financial records.
• Support ACH origination, wire processing, and system user needs.
• Assist with debit card maintenance, document imaging, returns, and ATM settlements.

This is an opportunity to put your Fiserv/Precision experience to good use while being part of a supportive team at a community-focused bank.**Primary Duties*** Keep transactions on track by importing, verifying, reviewing, editing, and interfacing incoming ACH files with accuracy.* Help resolve issues efficiently by processing incoming cash letters, exception items, and rejected transactions.* Maintain accurate account information by uploading new accounts into the core system and balancing various accounts.* Support financial accuracy by completing daily investment entries and maintaining reliable financial records.* Be a resource to your team by participating in ACH origination and assisting system users with processing needs.* Keep essential banking services moving through debit card maintenance and disputes, document imaging, returns, ATM settlements, and other deposit operations and exception processing.* Support secure transactions by processing or overseeing wire requests and authorizing transactions within the deposit system.## Qualifications## **What You'll Bring to the Team:*** **Hands-on experience** withFiserv/Precision in a banking environment is required**.*** Previous banking operations experience is required, preferably in deposit operations, item processing, or back-office banking.* Familiarity with ACH processing, exception items, account balancing, debit card maintenance, and other deposit-related functions.* Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.* Effective organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established banking procedures.* High school diploma or equivalent required**NOTE:** This job description does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an “at-will” employment relationship.*Equal Opportunity Employer*
