Full-Charge Bookkeeper – Property Management Company

We are a growing U.S.-based residential property management company seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to own our day-to-day accounting operations. This is a long-term, full-time, hourly role supporting a portfolio of residential rental properties. You’ll work closely with operations and report to one of our owners, a U.S. CPA, who provides review and guidance (not micromanagement).

What You’ll Do
  • Full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online
  • Monthly bank, credit card, and trust account reconciliations
  • Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
  • Reconcile AppFolio activity to QuickBooks
  • Review rent collections, management fees, and owner distributions
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
  • Communicate accounting issues clearly to U.S.-based management
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years full-charge bookkeeping experience
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Solid understanding of property management accounting & trust accounts
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • Experience with AppFolio (or similar property management software)
  • Experience supporting U.S. property management or real estate companies
  • Prior remote/offshore work experience
  • Accounting degree or bookkeeping certification
Compensation & Schedule
  • $10–$15 USD per hour, based on experience
  • Paid hourly (no unpaid overtime)
  • Full-time, long-term position
  • Overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours
