Job summary

Pro Resources is partnering with a leading book and content distribution center to hire dependable Order Pullers in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role focuses on accuracy, safety, and reliability within a fast-paced warehouse team.

Primary duties include pulling and counting book products, inputting orders, using RF scanners or voice-directed picking, and scanning orders for staging. Flexibility and good attendance are required to meet production standards.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of work history in one previous job.
• At least 6 months of work experience involving walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, and typing.
• Reading comprehension and writing skills at a high school level.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and follow safety guidelines in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks.
• Ability to work independently or collaborate in a group environment.
• Ability to be flexible and multitask based on workflow demands.
• Ability to meet and maintain production standards.
• Reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Pull, count, and verify book product for customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Obtain picking lists or task group assignments from leadership, input orders into the production system, and retrieve a cart.
• Pull and verify the correct number of each item from shelves based on the task assignment using paper, RF, or voice-activated processes, and place product on the cart.
• Scan completed orders out of production and push carts to the correct staging area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
