Giant Eagle in Columbus, OH seeks a Seafood Team Leader to guide the department, train staff, and ensure fresh seafood offerings meet guest expectations. You will coach teammates, manage daily operations, and uphold safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Qualifications include retail leadership experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and food safety certification; lifting up to 50 pounds and age 18+ are required. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to success.

Competenze

• Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation.
• Experience Desired: leadership or supervisory roles; peer trainer or in-store champion experience; product knowledge for department; solid performance history.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Interview, select and train Team Members.
• Direct the work of Team Members.
• Assess Team Members' productivity for promotions or changes in status.
• Handle Team Member issues, including complaints.
• Discipline Team Members as needed.
• Plan and distribute work; ensure safety and security of team and store.
• Manage department or location budget and inventory; monitor shrink.
• Oversee training to reduce turnover and drive efficiency.
• Communicate with merchandising to align promotions with staff.
