Job summary

Republic Finance in the United States seeks a Consumer Loan Specialist to originate consumer loans, build strong customer relationships, and meet sales goals. The role emphasizes excellent communication, reliability, and a professional demeanor within a growing financial services team.

You will handle loan applications, guide customers through the process, and contribute to a positive total customer experience while leveraging a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience (i.e., retail sales, goal-oriented or incentive based).
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills are a must.
• Ability to work in a high-performing, fast-paced, goal-oriented, team environment.
• Ability to successfully navigate priorities while paying close attention to details.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows & Microsoft Office.
• Ability to meet standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility requirements for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Originate consumer loan business with new and existing customers.
• Evaluate customer needs to recommend loan and voluntary product solutions.
• Complete loan applications and proposals for new borrowers and follow up.
• Explain loan process and answer questions about loan products.
• Close loans, assemble folders, and manage servicing of a growing loan portfolio.
• Meet or exceed loan goals and resolve customer issues promptly.
