Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN with 2+ years of experience.
• Preferred: BSN from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited programs.
• Active Ohio RN License; may need licensure in other states.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated via TruMerit per Ohio Board rules.

Responsibilities

• Sustain understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards in patient services.
• Monitor safety and departmental policies; ensure certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled.
• Freely communicate safety and compliance concerns to leadership team members.
• Support leadership in CMS standards compliance for the department and hospital.
• Collaborate with nurse council and magnet representatives to share safety best practices.
