Job summary

Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT seeks a Bone Density and MRI Technologist to handle all aspects of patient care for bone density and MRI exams. You will perform QC, prep patients and rooms, and assess and analyze bone density and MRI studies before radiologist review.

Requirements include CT licensure, AS degree (BS preferred), ARRT RT(R, BD, MR) credentials, and CPR certification. 2–5 years of related experience is preferred, with EOE/Protected Veterans/Disabilities statements present.

Qualifications

MAIN FUNCTION: Responsible for handling all aspects of patient care associated with bone density and MRI exams.Performs bone density & MRI equipment quality control, prepares room and patient for procedure, responsible for patient assessments related to bone density and MRI exams, and analyzes bone density exam prior to submission to Radiologist.

EDUCATION:State of CT License, AS Degree required, BS preferred, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: RT (R, BD, MR), CPR certification required.

EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years Bone Density and MRI Technologist experience preferred.
