Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL, seeks a Bone Densitometry Technologist to oversee the bone densitometry modality. You will collaborate with the department Manager and fellow Technologists to ensure diagnostic procedures are performed efficiently, accurately, and with the highest quality for every patient.

The role requires ARRT certification, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced health system. This is a Regular-Full time position on First Shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of diagnostic radiography.
• ARRT certification required; bone densitometry certification within six months of employment.
• BLS preferred.
• Excellent MS Office skills and familiarity with relevant computer software.
• Strong team leadership and organization.

Highlights

Summary: The Bone Densitometry Technologist is responsible for overseeing the bone densitometry modality. This individual works with the Manager and other Technologists in the department to ensure all diagnostic procedures are performing efficiently, effectively and with the highest level of quality and concern for each patient. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education / Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of diagnostic radiography.

Licensure / Certification

• ARRT required, Bone Densitometry acquired within six months of employment, BLS preferred
