• Assist BOM creation for future and current Y-gate programs.
• Coordinate document corrections with engineering.

Overview

BOM Analyst-Engineering Support will support product development and current production to meet customers’ needs and project objectives. Compile and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) for new and existing product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ERP system to process changes to multi-level machine Bill of Material to support EC's (Engineering Changes)
• Support projects related to new products and redesigned products by preparing Part number setup and BOMs for products to support YCENA business
• Reconcile the BOM with the design engineering part list prior to release into production
• Prepare and maintain supporting documents in MS Excel
• Assist with the BOM creation for future and current Y-gate programs
• Coordinate document corrections with engineering

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education And/or Experience

• High school diploma plus demonstrated database experience within a manufacturing environment. Associates degree in a technical field or a field related to database management preferred.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills are required.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
• Personal computer skills include but are not limited to: MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), and Lotus

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Requires a high level of attention to detail
• Must have strong organization and communication skills
• Requires expertise in Microsoft Office products
• Self-motivation, willingness to learn & grow and a strong work ethic

This position offers the potential for discretionary bonus compensation up to 6% of base earnings.
