Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Journeyman with extensive field experience in boiler and vessel fabrication. The role requires reading plans, marking reference points, aligning structures, and signaling crane operations to place components accurately.

The candidate will bolt, weld, and assemble boiler frames, tanks, and related parts while performing maintenance and minor Fabrication tasks. Adherence to safety protocols and job rules is essential across assignments.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; field experience preferred.
• Familiar with reading plans/drawings and following established guidelines.
• Ability to work under supervision yet perform tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark reference points for foundations and align components.
• Signal crane operator and assist lifting components to position.
• Bolt, weld, and fit boiler frame, tanks or related parts.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning; test assembled vessels.
• Observe safety and project rules; may fabricate parts as needed.
