Job summary

Turner Industries in Norco, LA is seeking a Boilermaker to assemble, erect, and repair boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels according to blueprint specifications. This non-exempt role reports to a Front-Line Supervisor and involves hands-on field work at client sites.

Qualified applicants have a HS diploma, 1–4 years of experience, and ability to pass safety tests. Work includes rigging, cutting, fitting, and testing vessels with strict safety standards; physical stamina required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–4 years of experience in the specified skill level.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (PPE etc.).
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, glasses, gloves, respirator, etc.).
• Demonstrated proficiency in construction tool use (grinders, torch).
• National Certification preferred (may be required).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble boilers, tanks, vats, and vessels per blueprint specs.
• Erect and repair boilers, tanks, exchangers, and heaters.
• Bolts and aligns structures; assists in testing vessels.
