Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is seeking a Boiler Service Tech to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial boiler systems and related mechanical equipment in the Asheville, NC area. You should bring strong boiler experience, solid troubleshooting skills, and a safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Commercial boiler service experience required.
• Hands-on experience with steam boilers, hot water boilers, burners and boiler controls preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and combustion issues; understanding of hydronic and steam systems.

What You Bring:

• Commercial boiler service experience (required).
• Hands-on experience with steam boilers, hot water boilers, burners, and boiler controls (preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and combustion-related issues as well as understanding principles of hydronic and steam systems.
• Must have a clean driving record.

The Workplace:

• Drug-free Workplace.
• Work overtime when necessary. Be available for on-call rotation.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
• This is no desk job! You’ll stand and walk throughout the workday, lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs, reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, and bending.
