FM is seeking a Jurisdictional Boiler Inspector (Consultant I or II) to conduct jurisdictional inspections of boilers and pressure vessels in Central and Eastern CT and Rhode Island. The role requires building expertise in national codes, NBIC, and FM procedures, with supervision by the Operations Chief Inspector.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience in boilers/pressure vessels.
• National Board and state certifications as required by NBIC/FM.
• Experience with boiler/pressure vessel construction, operation, and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Inspect boilers and pressure vessels in accordance with ASME NBIC NB codes and FM procedures.
• Learn and develop skills to manage, inspect, evaluate, and confer with Clients.
• Perform inspections with supervision by Operations Chief Inspector.
• Travel approximately 30%.
